THE MASK OF CONSUMPTION

For this project I collaborated with a jewellery maker Chanel Gericke. We have produced a mask that reprsesents consumerism in the modern day. By blocking senses with materialist rewards, people become blind to the reality and their internal needs.

The project was highly inspired by J. Carpenter's satirical horror film 'They live".
